To Dick's family, all of his friends will miss him dearly. He certainly was a very caring individual and close friend. May God bless your family and watch over all of you in this troubled time. You will certainly be in our prayers. I will certainly miss seeing Dick on Monday night at the club and hearing his voice in the choir at church.

It was with great sorrow and shock when I heard about Dick''s death on Monday. He was a great friend and I enjoyed the years I knew him at Trindle Spring Lutheran Church and sang with him on the choir. We also enjoyed the couple of times he and Dilys visited us here in Virginia Beach. He seemed to always be smiling and in good humor and never failed to bring along a bottle of his homemade wine. He will be sorely missed at the church and by the many friends I know he had, and I was proud to be one of them. Our sympathies to Dilys and the rest of the family. Our prayers are with you, and you can be sure Dick is at peace and looking down on all of you.

Dilys,
We so wish we could be there to visit with you. We are so sad to hear of Dick's passing. What a blessing it is to us to have known him. He was such a wonderful example to JD, Amy and Julia. They all three said they remember him most for being so friendly, kind and hard-working. We will be praying for God's peace for you.
